Thanks to Lynn Lockard, who grew up in town, her class appealed to the County of Hunterdon, to have the old bridge restored. To her and her students we will be eternally grateful. Incredible to think the young kids in town still care about it's history. This was done shortly after Linda Manning and myself had worked with every non-profit and the town to honor all our Veterans of all wars after Desert Storm. Lynn had talked to us at the time about having a Bloomsbury Grammar School Reunion. But it never went anywhere. :( Maybe someone still in the vicinity would be interested?
