Welcome Gail Ragan D'Amato

For those who don't know Gail is the oldest daughter of Ken and Goldie Ragan. Ken had Chevy dealership in Bloomsbury at the current site of the Rescue Squad building.
My dad actually worked for Ken when he was young.

Along with the great joys of growing up Bloomsbury come great sorrows.


I know each generation in town has gone through the loss of one of it's members. I saw this in today's Express Times and felt the need to share it. Jeff you will be sorely missed.


Jeffrey L Heinrich (February 27, 1957 - July 9, 2009)
Jeffrey Heinrich, 52, of Bloomsbury, NJ passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at home.
Born February 27, 1957 in Phillipsburg he was the son of Robert Heinrich of Bloomsbury and the late Betty Stoneback Heinrich.He was employed by A & L Pool Service in High Bridge. Prior to that he worked in as a mechanic in the moulding department of Koh-I-Noor in Bloomsbury. He was a 1975 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. He enjoyed playing quoits, listening to oldies radio, fishing, hunting, gardening and bingo. He loved the Jersey Shore. Jeff was an avid Nascar fan, especially #24 Jeff Gordon and a Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bloomsbury; the Bloomsbury Hose Company and the Grizzly Softball Team in Bloomsbury.In addition to his father, Robert, he is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline of Easton; two brothers, Robert, Jr. and his wife, Lorlyn and Kevin and his wife, Karen, all of Bloomsbury; two nephews, Robert Peter and Shane; a great-niece, Hailey; and his ex-wife, Deborah of Easton.Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Rush-Devlin Funeral Home, 42 Church Street, PO Box 143, Bloomsbury, NJ. Interment of ashes will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Bloomsbury Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in Jeff's name to the family in care of the funeral home.
