Yes, the Rescue Squad ran the tube races as an annual event :)

ReplyDeleteSorry to post back so late...but I haven't been back to this site in a while.....but I am JerryMac2 - Jerry McIntyre, I lived on Main Street and went to BES from K-8 in the 80's to early 90's .... My mother was on the rescue sqaud for years which is why I know they ran the tube races, and my father used to play the organ at the presbyterian church :)
