I'm amazed that the lettering is still legible!!
ReplyDeleteLived in Bloomsbury in the early 70's. Some of the families I remember were the Dewires, Freeh, Sheets, Pickel, Steinmetz, Gordon, Dech, Price, Benyl,Gearhardts, Frankenfields............Any of you guys out there?
ReplyDeleteJoe I am in contact with some of the names you mention there. But am sad to say only DeWire's,and Pickels are directly represented in this group. Elsie Freeh, Shelly Steinmetz and Curt, most of the Dech's and many Gerhardts are on FB. If you talk to them there, please try to get them to join us here. We are missing an entire generation it seems here. I'd love to see them join.
