Born November 9, 1918 in Stewartsville she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna Welch Pinkerton. She was a homemaker. Esther enjoyed her life and loved her flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed her family which was always first, going out to eat, and helping others. She is survived by a son, Edward G. and his wife, Barbara, of Stewartsville; a daughter, Katherine E. Anderson of Chesterfield, SC; a sister, Irma Wieller of Hartwell, GA; thirteen grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Esther was predeceased by her husband, Edward N. Wean; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. in Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to time of services in the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery.
